Does Elon Musk encourage fatphobia? The wealthiest man in the world splits the internet & post a meme on DOGE

Elon Musk is well known for using X to share memes that reflect his views on various subjects. Some social media users have called his recent article about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a recently established organization under Donald Trump’s administration and led by the billionaire himself, “fatphobic.” The meme, however, has been defended by others who claim that it “depicts the truth.”

The cartoon strip meme was first shared on the SKS Cartoon Instagram page in 2024. A day ago, Musk reposted the meme on X with no caption.
There are three sections to the cartoon strip. In the first, a character that resembles Musk is standing next to an overweight woman wearing a T-shirt with the X logo on it. The woman is depicted in the following strip.
